Is your training style really different?

This is the question I get a lot, and I understand why. Anyone who is involved with training always says that their training is different. I can only go by what clients and most importantly, the audiences have said over a 30-year career. Over and over, they have said they have never seen anything like what I do. My style and philosophy are remarkably simple: I do not create or teach anything that I wouldn't enjoy sitting through. As a participant I have seen enough training to know what works and what does not.

How do you charge for your services?

It's not a one size fits all model. There are several options such as daily rate, flat rate, percentage of business increase or a retainer for a set number of days per year. It's based on the size and scope of the project and what makes the most sense.

What is the timeframe to develop a training program?

Accepted Answer

There are no off the shelf programs, so it does take longer when developing a training program. The good news is a lot of time is spent researching your company and really getting to know the people, at all levels, the language, and the culture. As a result, you get a training program that never appears that it was written by a 3rd party but that it came from your company. That is the best way to get buy-in from the people you are training.

Do you have the ability to scale up for bigger projects?

The benefit of being a sole proprietor is as the person in charge I am the point person, the creator, and the facilitator working side by side with you and your team. For large projects, especially nationwide live training, scheduling must be strategic due to the size of Q Training Solutions. The good news is I have access to several top-notch facilitators that would be brought on to meet the scope of the project without impacting the quality of the work. I have even worked with company's internal training departments to ensure the size and timeframe of project are met.

Are you available to train internationally?

Yes, in fact I have done training in Europe and Canada. There are also opportunities with Zoom calls or virtual training. I can be anywhere in the world to speak to your team, without leaving the office. That can save your company time and money. It is also something that people have gotten pretty used to after 2020/2021.

What is the one area where you would offer the greatest ROI in the shortest period of time?

This is always a dicey question to answer because of all the factors involved. I can say that in my career my reputation was built on the ability to drive sales, and more specifically, service contract or extended warranty sales. In fact, because of the success improving that specific business, it often led to other areas of opportunity for the client. Driving that program's success served as the beginning of a beautiful, long-term partnership.
